When you're a supreme being of the universe, you really can't just walk around without clothes on. The authorities don't like it, even if you ARE there to save the world from the evil spoken of by the Mondoshawans. While other universes and beings may not have any objections to public nudity, we here in the States (even in the future) have some laws against it. Not that Korben Dallas minded all that much, but its probably best to slip into something with a little more coverage.
