The All-American Babies Professional Baseball League recently visited us with their newest recruits for an interview. Despite the distraction of their adorable presence, we managed to gather some insights. Our interactions were filled with interpreting saliva bubbles and coos, but we learned that the players' skills are still developing, with half of them struggling to stand on their own. When it comes to runs and gameplay, the prospects might be a work in progress, but what they lack in experience, they make up for in energy and can-do attitude. Surprisingly, these rookies displayed impressive pitching abilities, showcasing promise for their future in the league. Before bidding farewell, we had the babies try on our A League of Their Own baseball uniforms designed in-house. The 3-piece ensemble, featuring a pink jersey-knit dress, a vibrant red belt, and a Rockford Peaches hat, received enthusiastic approval from both the tiny-leaguers and their coaches. The coaches appreciated the practicalities like attached patches and belt to prevent any choking hazards. While these little ones might not have the polished skills of seasoned players, the joy they exuded while donning the uniform was unmistakable.
